Last week, we went way back to the roaring twenties... this week we jump way forward to the future!!! This week's Look Inspiration is the most glamorous gal in the galaxy-Nichelle Nichols. Nichelle Nichols played the role of Lt. Uhura on the original Star Trek series from 1966-1969. According to the official Paramount Studios Star Trek site (Startrek.com), Nichols had thought of leaving the show early in its run but Martin Luther King Junior told Nichols she was a role model for young African American women in a chance meeting. This was all the encouragement she needed to continue the role and to this day spends a significant amount of time recruiting minorities for NASA.

***Never store your coffee in the fridge or freezer. It will soak in the odors and flavors of everything else in the cooler (ewwwwww... I've got take out in there thats like a week old. Gross. Editor's Note:I have been using cold cream for about a year now and I literally cannot go to sleep without cleansing my face with it. I used to be public enemy #1 when it came to going to bed without washing off my makeup. That all changed when, after seeing a retro ad on YouTube, I decided to give it a go. The cooling sensation was wonderful and I really feel that my skin's overall appearance has greatly improved since I began using it. It isn't for everyone, but its definitely for me.
