On St Patricks Day, our apartment was robbed and one of the items taken was the laptop I do most of my blogging on. We were niave enough to never even entertain the thought that this could happen to us. I want to encourage you, if you don't already, to write down the serial numbers of your technological devices and keep it somewhere safe. Also, there are great products out there, such as LoJack for Laptops, to protect you. If you haven't backed up your 1000s of digital pictures, important scanned documents, etc. DO IT! Make it a priority.

This is terrible news!! I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you - not only losing your stuff, but having your privacy and the sanctuary of your home violated! Take care, I hope you get things back to normal soon.

Thanks you guys! Everything is back to normal finally. How the heck did we manage to live next to a bar for 2 years and in Manhattan for 1 and never have that happen before??? LOL. Anywho, thanks again for checking in.
